Webinar Series
QCPC COVID-19 Community Resources is excited to provide three webinar series in order to best help you cope with various stressors due to COVID-19.
Understanding the physiological stress response, coping with worry, and minding our health during the COVID-19 pandemic
This webinar series will provide an introduction to the physiological stress response, with particular focus on the mental and physical toll of the COVID-19 pandemic. Across five modules, you will gain knowledge about research-based stress coping strategies that can improve holistic well-being during quarantine, including: relaxation based stress reduction techniques, cognitive and physical coping methodologies, and self-care and healthy habit building strategies.
Recognizing and Tackling Loneliness
Crises, like the COVID-19 pandemic, can lead to isolation, loneliness, and feelings of depression and anxiety. Moreover, while technology has widened the “radius” of communication, it does not necessarily increase the “quality” of our relationships. This webinar series will offer information on identifying signs of loneliness, teach appropriate skills to promote quality interpersonal connection, and will explore alternative modes of social engagement beyond Zoom. own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. Learn more about our work by getting in touch with our team today.
Enhancing interpersonal relationships during difficult times
In this webinar series, you will learn strategies to help you enhance relationships between you and your significant other and between you and your children. This will be accomplished through content centered on effective communication and conflict resolution with significant others, balancing work and personal responsibilities, creating and maintaining routines for children, and speaking to children about difficult topics, like COVID-19.
